Single Engine "Sound-Selection" Air Activated Below Platform/Low Port Exhaust Diverter System - Black
At last you can have the very best of both worlds. You can go from marina quiet thru-prop exhaust to the open water roar of thru-transom exhaust. With no cutting or modifications these highly polished stainless steel exhaust diverters install simply to both stock and aftermarket exhaust systems. But that's only the half of it. What makes the Hardin Marine Sound-Select Diverter America's No.1 choice is it is air activated - yes air activated - the same way the factory original guy's do it. You ask why air? Reliability and safety. Reliability because we DO NOT retrofit electrical solenoids as marine exhaust components. Electric solenoids produce a continuous draw of electricity while generating possible sparks and heat in an enclosed engine compartment. An air operated system is driven by a remote mount panel providing none of the side effects electrically operated systems have. So if only the best will do for your boat do it the way the factory intended to do it - Choose the Hardin Marine Sound-Select Exhaust Diverter!
Late model boat styling with integrated swim platforms have brought the need to develop a system providing the flexibility to lower the exhaust exit while still working in harmony with the factory Y-pipe.
Each Sound-Select Diverter system is constructed of aerospace stainless components. The systems are sold complete with 2 diverters, and 1 remote operation panel. Switch and exhaust tips are sold separately.
These diverters will fit Bravo and Alpha applications 1987 and up they will not fit the 8.1 engines, OMC or Volvos.
The Mercury 350 dry joint exhaust will not work with the Hardin diverter. Corsa has a set part number 270-61000 for standard non riser spacers. If there is space, we need to know if it is 3" or 6" and Corsa can build a custom set.
