Top Mount Replacement Prestolite 3-bolt Starter This starter is used on many known jet engine manufacturers (Indmar, Hardin, etc). This is a reverse rotation starter so it can start your standard rotation motor. This is a high torque mini starter, good up to 18:1 compression engines. The starter weighs 8lbs. Replaces Prestolite #'s MDU 7016, 7022, 7033. Fits into a 3" bellhousing opening. Starter gear kicks out 0.500" USCG Approved (SAE J1171)

This was a perfect replacement for my old prestolite starter bolted to a Indmar bell housing. The rotation speed could be a little faster, but as the description states, hi-torque...not high speed. With that said, it has no problem starting my 454!!
