Rule-Mate 12V Automatic Bilge Pumps feature a solid state water sensing technology that senses the dielectric constant of water. The pump will activate when the water level rises to 2-3/4" and will not turn on in the event oil enters the bilge. They do not require a separate float switch. They do feature snap-off strainers and one straight and one 90° hose fittings.
