Until now the industry has been limited by the fact that the largest damper plate available was rated at merely a 1000 ft lbs. While this has been used by many boats with more power than that its also has been the cause of horrific failures and product/trans damage.
This new drive plate combo take the same technology used to build the OEM 1650 HP Turbo QV4's drive plates and mates it to a proprietary flywheel assembly that retrofits to a traditional Big Block Chevrolet engine family.
