High Pressure Fitting

These fittings are designed to adapt to the high pressure power steering hose/pump on Mercury racing 500EFI late model p/s pumps and many of the Mercury racing 525EFI engines.

Selector Valve

Overall length from nut to the end of the fitting is 5". It is 4-1/2 wide for fitting to fitting. The body is 1-1/4" thick. The handle is 3" long. Has (2) 3/8" female inlets Has (1) 3/8" npt outlet. This is used when you have a dual helm. This allows you to select which helm that you will be steering from.

Replaces Mercury OEM #846446

New from Mayfair by Hardin Marine upgraded end cap gland for all Mercury Racing #6, #7, NXT1 transoms. This upgraded end cap gland has dual inner wiper seals, an upgrade over the single wiper seal of Mercury to eliminate leaky cylinders. Machine from USA navel bronze bar. This replaces the Mercury racing # 846446 that has been discontinued by Mercury.
